 4 Eggs
 125 g margarine
 250 g fine sugar
 125 g Apple sauce
 250 g self-raising flour
 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Separate the eggs and melt the margarine.

Mix the egg yolks with the sugar and apple sauce and add the margarine.

Beat the egg whites until stiff.

Fold the flour into the egg yolk mixture and mix until smooth.

Preheat the waffle iron. In the meantime, fold the egg whites into the batter.

Grease the waffle iron with oil and spoon a spoonful of batter into it. Fry the waffle until golden brown and continue until the batter is used up.
