HOW DOES READY TO RACE WORK?

Ready to Race is an interactive online program whose content is filled in based on the characteristics of your sporting goals:

DEFINE YOUR GOAL

You first enter the name, sport type, duration, date and start time of your goal. Based on this, you will receive specific guidelines to tackle your nutritional challenge as best as possible.

SIMULATE

During the preparation period you create a detailed script for your competition and use our interactive simulator to fine-tune your nutritional strategy based on your own preferences.

TEST AND ADJUST

You then apply your nutritional strategy to training and during practice matches or events. You evaluate and adjust until everything works optimally for you. We leave nothing to chance.

THE penultimate week

You will receive detailed guidelines well in advance of your target date on what you need to do in the penultimate week to optimally prepare for your competition week. It is important to start Ready to Race early enough to be able to process and test the information in a timely manner.

THE LAST WEEK

During the last week you will receive daily nutrition guidelines based on the type, duration and timing of your goal. We calculate exactly how many carbohydrates, proteins and fat you should eat every day and you can check your nutritional intake with our calculator.

d-day: Ready to race!

On competition day we obviously leave nothing to chance! You will know perfectly and have tested what to eat and drink and when. You will receive a step-by-step checklist so you can't do anything wrong. You are now completely Ready To Race and can use your strategy for the rest of your sports career.

WHAT IS THE CONTENT OF READY TO RACE?

PART 1

Configure your challenge
  • You start the program by entering the characteristics of your sporting objective.
  • The program is completed for you based on these characteristics.
  • The timing of the program is based on the timing of your sporting goal. You can view all parts immediately because the sooner you start, the better.

PART 2

Introduction
  • We go over how the program works and how you can get the most out of it.

PART 3

The preparation
  • You will learn what you need to test in the preparation.

Which sports is Ready to Race suitable for?

Ready to Race is made for cyclists, runners or triathletes.

For which sporting level is Ready to Race?

Your sporting level does not matter. Even a novice amateur can learn to eat and drink properly.

When should I start with Ready to Race?

It is best to start the program at least 4 weeks before your sporting goal, and if possible even earlier. This is because it is best to test your nutritional strategy during training. If you start the program too late (e.g. 2 weeks before your goal), there will hardly be time for this. It's possible, but it's not ideal.

When can I start after purchase?

You can start the program immediately. You will immediately have access to all parts after completing the first part, because you obviously need time to process everything, make preparations (e.g. for the last week) and apply. The program reminds you of the most important components, milestones and guidelines based on the timing of your sporting goal.

How do I know Ready to Race will work for me?

Ready to Race was created for and by athletes and sports nutrition experts. You know the program will work for you because you have to test everything in advance and adjust if it doesn't work for you. The goal is to make it virtually impossible to encounter any surprises on the day of your sporting goal. Sports nutrition is a scientifically well-founded domain, so we are confident that the guidelines will also yield significant performance gains for you.

I eat vegetarian or vegan. Does the program take this into account?

You will receive guidelines on what you can do if you do not wish to consume meat or animal products to provide all the nutrients. However, the entire program is not adapted to a vegetarian or vegan diet. This is not necessary, you can perfectly tailor the program to your preferences by replacing some foods.

How long do I have access to the program?

There is no expiration date on Ready to Race. Moreover, you can reset the data on which the program is based (date, type, duration... of your goal) and set new goals in the future. You do not have to pay again for this.

What happens after my registration?

You will receive an email with all the information and Ready to Race will be released immediately under "My Programs" if you already have a Hello Champ account. If you do not have an account yet, an account will be created for you. You can then immediately start using the program. You can of course also wait until later.

What is the difference between Ready to Race and The Sports Nutrition Formula?

Ready to Race prepares you step by step and down to the last detail for your most important competition or event. The sports nutrition formula teaches you how to approach your nutrition on all other days of the year. The sports nutrition formula also contains some information about preparing for a competition or event, but this is not nearly as extensive and guided as in Ready to Race. To learn how to eat and drink optimally in every situation, you must follow both programs. This can be done via the BUNDLE option.

How can I give Ready to Race as a gift to someone else?

This is very simple, but you have to go to our Shop via this page. Choose the desired formula and then click on Give this product as a gift. Then fill in the requested information and pay.

Note: the lucky athlete who receives your gift can still choose to follow something different (e.g. a different formula) than the program you selected. If the newly chosen product costs more than the amount of the gift, the difference must be paid. If the newly chosen product costs less than the amount of the gift, the surplus can be used later for other purchases (within a period of 12 months).

Can I receive an invoice for my purchase?
