ABOUT US

Our team consists of experienced and passionate sports dietitians led by Stephanie Scheirlynck.

Stephanie has almost 20 years of experience in translating scientific research into practice. As a sports dietitian, she has already guided many professional top athletes in various disciplines. For example, she currently works with the men's and women's teams at the UCI WorldTour cycling team Lidl-Trek (road cycling), two-time Olympic champion Nafi Thiam (heptathlon) and Team Belgium (BOIC). She is also the author of a series of sports cookbooks and also shares her advice with you via Hello Champ.

She gets help with this Lotte and Audrey, who share the same passion for sports nutrition.

WHAT IS THE CONTENT OF YOUNG CHAMPS?

In the masterclass 'Young Champs' you will discover what your sporty child needs for healthy growth, development and optimal sports performance. Using videos, interactive content and example schedules, you will learn to understand what is important at what time, so that you can apply this tailored to your child. And this in a healthy, accessible way.

PART 1

Energy balance

In this part you will discover the most important points of attention for your child's growth and development. You will learn where your child best gets his or her energy using fun, interactive tools!

PART 2

Timing

After you have discovered where your child best gets his energy, we turn our attention to the timing of his eating moments. In this part you will learn how to tailor your child's nutrition to the time of his training or competition. Thanks to sample schedules and some recipes, you are able to make your own meal plans.

PART 3

Specific topics

In this section you get access to a handy calculator that indicates We consider some common, but often challenging situations, such as a reduced appetite in your child, dealing with vegetarian food, or the stage of puberty your child is in . energy and how much protein you can best consume during the day.
