How much energy do I need?

The amount of energy you should consume through food and drink is of course determined by how much energy you use in a day.

Use the calculator below to determine how much energy you need based on your gender, age, your physical activity throughout the day and your sports activities.

Important: No app, calculator… can accurately calculate or monitor your energy consumption. A measurement or estimation error is always present. Please take this energy consumption as a general guideline and be flexible.

* Your energy expenditure at rest
This is the amount of energy consumed daily to simply maintain your bodily functions (heart rate, breathing, etc.).

** Your energy consumption without exercise
This is the amount of energy you need to perform your bodily functions + your normal daily activities.
